This comprehensive digital marketing toolkit empowers our community partners with the resources needed to effectively utilize Energy Saver NC brand assets across social media channels and email newsletters.

Below, you’ll find everything you need to spread the word about our program. From social media graphics and captions, to email templates, we’ve included plenty of assets to make it as simple as possible for you to share. Feel free to copy and paste directly or lightly customize to fit your organization’s voice.

Testimonial Collection Guide

We encourage registered contractors and community partners to collect and share testimonials that highlight the impact of Energy Saver NC and help build trust with communities.

Start by reviewing the Testimonial Collection Guide for instructions and templates. Collect participant details and a short testimonial (1–3 sentences) using the Information Worksheet or enter them directly into the online form. Photos, videos, or audio are encouraged.

Submit all materials through the online Testimonial Intake Form, including the signed Release Form, testimonial, and any media. Materials become the property of NC DEQ and may only be shared through official Energy Saver NC channels.

Community Engagement Handbook

This handbook helps your organization understand how to engage with the Energy Saver NC program. It outlines engagement options, shared expectations, and standardized materials to support consistent and effective partnerships. The handbook also supports equitable access for North Carolina residents and helps you choose the engagement approach that best fits your organization. Once you’ve identified your path, our outreach team will follow up with the right tools and support.

Application Assistance Event Guide

This guide is designed to support our community partners who are interested in hosting or co-hosting application assistance events with Energy Saver NC. Our goal is to work alongside partners to create events that help residents learn about the program, prepare their materials, and when possible, submit complete applications on-site.
